Rony's debut album "Aramba" is an exciting mix of Eastern and Western music and features musicians from England, Spain, Brazil and  Lebanon.
Rony describes his music as "....a colourful blend of Arabic, Latin, Jazz and Funk - a fusion between east and west."
"Aramba" was recorded in both London and Lebanon in 1999.

The album comprises of original compositions all composed and produced by Rony. Although the tunes are based on tabla  (also called darbouka or derbakeh), Rony also features on  dozens of other percussion instruments. The music varies from tabla solos through to big band jazz and string orchestra. Rony has chosen authentic Middle Eastern instruments to suit the new style and his own World sound.

"Aramba" was a major hit for Rony Barrak. It gave a new dimension for world music composed and played by a Lebanese artist
