Purcell Room |
|
Following his success at the Albert Hall, Rony
played at the Purcell Room in London on the 11 September 2000. In addition to
performing tracks from the "Aramba"-album, Rony also included new and old
compositions to be recorded onto his next CD. The beautiful "Friendship" not
only featured sax master Derek Nash, but also a nice surprise when Rony showed
off his versatility by taking the seat at the grand piano!
Rony was at the same venue on 20th July, for the annual "Rhythm Sticks" - a festival featuring some of the best percussionists in the world! He brought some great guest musicians, including latin percussionist Snowboy . The following day, Rony hosted a percussion workshop at the Royal Festival Hall.
